  1. Regarding the lack of Universal movies in the Great Movie Ride, Disney-MGM was only built after Universal decided to build their own movie studio in Orlando. So obviously the 2 companies were in competition
    However, on opening day for USF in 1990, Disney took out a one page ad in the Orlando Sentinal welcoming Universal and saying "what's good for tourism and entertainment is good for Central Florida."
