Episode 142: Looking Forward to 2015


For this week's news we discuss a new location for Dole Whips in the Magic Kingdom, a new non-tiered Room Only Discount for the spring, two Innoventions exhibits closing in early 2015, another new restaurant announced for Disney Springs, a new Value Added Tax will be applied to cruisers in the Bahamas (including Castaway Cay), and Apple Pay is now accepted at Walt Disney World.

For our topic, we look ahead to 2015 at things that have been announced as well as announcements we are expecting to hear in 2015. Topics we discuss including changes to the Studios, Disney Springs, Undersea Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Entertainment at Epcot.

Episode 141: Live Action Fairytales


On this episode's news we look at Robert Downey Jr. in the next Captain America film, the menu for Trattoria al Forno, Glow with the Show rebranded as Made with Magic, and details for the upcoming animated film Moana.

For the main topic we discuss how Disney and a lot of other film studios are recreating classic animated films and making them into live action. The films we discuss include Cinderella, Jungle Book, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. What do you think about this? Are you excited to see live-action Dumbo?

Episode 140: Previewing Big Hero 6



In this week's news we take a look at The Lumberjack Show at Epcot, FastPass+ Test at Toy Story Mania, Luigi's Flying Tires to close at DCA, a $200 billion refurb is planned for Disneyland Paris, and George Clooney left his honeymoon to appear at comicon to promote Tomorrowland.

This week we are looking at the upcoming Disney film, Big Hero 6. This is the first Marvel film that is being produced under Disney's Animation division and is set to premiere November 7.

Episode 137: EPCOT Entertainment Changes



For this week's news we discuss the Frozen short that is coming. Mark details menu changes at the Electric Umbrella and electric car charging stations are coming to Epcot. We also talk about the management changes at Epcot with Tom Fitzgerald taking over direction of the park.
